Very good - loved the music theme. Location is excellent to visit main midtown attractions (the rooftop has a view of Times Square). Rooms are nice, not super big but decent size by nyc standards. We thought there could be more musical touches e.g. music speakers.
Thanks to our bellman Jonathan who was very kind and helpful, helping us store our luggage and arranging travel to the airport, with even some complimentary water bottles for the journey!!!
Considering that we pay "resort" fees at hotels in NYC, you might as well stay somewhere that has more to offer than just a cool bar and decent room. Being a lover of music and museums, the Hard Rock Hotel NY was the perfect stay for me. Where else can you go and see memorable outfits from your favorite artists and other memorabilia. The Hard Rock also has a nice bar/restaurant on the roof that had amazing views.
Spent a long Labor Day weekend here. The location is great, and the staff friendly although I would say the service was excellent as the first day our room wasn’t cleaned until that evening after I called. The decor felt warm, but a little …
If you want to be in the heart of Times Square this hotel is the best for it. Super close to everything around us which was my favorite thing about it (to walk)
Rooms were OK. Definitely look a lot nicer in pictures. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness at all .. i could tell the bathroom counter was never wiped it still has tooth brush stains and we stayed for 6 nights. Nothing was wiped down not even toilets were cleaned.
You hear everything going on in the hallways as well. People talking, doors closing.. there’s no sound proofing.
Staff at the front desk and bell desk were very friendly. Elevators take forever to catch as well. The 2 bars the hotel have are pretty cool as well. Overall i wouldn’t recommend this place.
We stayed at the Hotel at the end of August and booked a Studio Suite. Booking was all through Expedia but the hotel got in touch soon after via e-mail to send us welcoming e-mails and even allowed us to check in online 24 hours before. …
House keeping is the best but Star Service and Front desk is either rude or providing no help. I requested room service a very small service (some kitchen utensils) on Christmas Eve no less, and the lady working on the Star service phone …
I checked in at 3PM on Wednesday. I was immediately NOT impressed with the staff. The hospitality here is atrocious. The staff are overly obnoxious and rude. When we checked in I stated that my stay here at this location was strongly motivated by the great stay we had at Hard Rock Maldives in December 2022. That place and the service was OUTSTANDING. Well, the reply of the check in rep Chris proved the culture here allows the staff to behave poorly because he sarcastically laughed and basically said "it won't be that here." I didn't appreciate that and plan to make a video on my TikTok about it waning my audience and friends to avoid this place at all cost. It's not a good atmosphere. Even the hostess at Sessions is rude. Imagine a hostess being rude? Yep! They nailed it here. We checked into our room which was nice. Small. But nice. We paid an extra $200 to get a balcony so we wouldn't feel like we were in a shoe box. Then we went down to the restaurant for a bite. There was an army of staff in an empty place. They looked at us like we were inconveniencing them. What kind of professionals behave this way? They do. They continued chatting with one another. This place is full of a bunch of really arrogant workers. We didn't get a greeting for another ten minutes. It saddens me that people work in hospitality and treat the patrons with such arrogance and apathy. The only breath of fresh air from our stay was Jason in RT60. He was welcoming, accommodating and kind. All of what a person should be when people come to their hotel to stay. I reached out to the management at the beginning of my stay to see if they would correct this issues. No response. They would prefer to sit on Facebook and scroll which is what the concierge did the entire time we sat and listened to the live music on Wednesday night. Based off the response of the leadership here on other reviews I expect nothing but more gaslighting. My reason for sharing is to help someone spend their money at time at a place that cares about people. Also as an African American woman I saw preferential treatment given to people with skin different than mine. It's sad in 2024 we are still behaving this way. My hope is that the staff and leadership at this hotel get well. Beautiful faculty. Bad spirits.
My husband and I and our daughter and her husband stayed at Hard Rock Hotel, NYC nights of Dec. 1-4, 2023. Our daughter made the 2-room reservations. Our favorite part staying there was the best waiter we had every day for breakfast. His …
